The project forms part of the fourth phase of the London Borough of Southwark’s New Homes Programme and provides 11 high quality new homes and re-provides the existing community centre on the site. All homes are for council tenants with 50% reserved for local residents.

Our design responds to the immediate context. A new community centre occupies the ground floor; the curvilinear plan encouraging connections between Vestry Road and Pembury House Garden; with views out from the new community hall.Two redundant shops adjoining the site provide ancillary accommodation, with an improved frontage onto Vestry Road.Apartments vary in size from one to three bedrooms with 73% suitable for three or more occupants. The project has been developed in close consultation with the local residents association and is currently at pre-planning stage.
