Last week, FBM Director Viviana Vivanco showed Stage 2 architecture students from Queens University Belfast around our award-winning mixed use development at Pembury Circus.
“It’s not easy to be high-density, car-free, good-looking and provide a large amount of affordability all at the same time, but Pembury Circus has managed it” as the Guardian’s Dave Hill explains in this article about the scheme, which has won several high profile awards.
The QUB students were assisted by Sean Rafferty, one of FBM’s Senior Architects and a proud alumnus! They toured a number of exemplar housing schemes in London as preparatory work for a new studio project.
It was a great privilege to share professional insights and help to mentor architects of the future!
Thanks to OGU Architects in Belfast for the great pic of Viviana in action!
