Winners of the Architects’ Journal Retrofit Award, we have significant experience repurposing university and college buildings to provide state of the art spaces for teaching and research. A scheme that best illustrates this is our retrofit of the Cockcroft Building at the University of Brighton, which achieved a considerable reduction in the building’s energy demand and carbon emissions by using a combination of passive solar design and technological solutions.

We are framework architects to the University of Essex and the University of East Anglia and founding members of the Higher Education Design Quality Forum (HEDQF) for which we regularly participate in conferences and seminars.

On this show reel you will find previously completed schemes including CAT 3 Labs, libraries, social learning space, galleries and exhibition space, and students union facilities.
