We developed these proposals for a new Higher Education Research Building at Grangegorman, Dublin for a competition run by Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). The new 4,500sqm building is needed to house the Facility for Optical Characterisation and Spectroscopy (FOCAS Research Institute).

Our proposals locate the new FOCAS building to address the new public space and artwork by Garrett Phelan. The building is arranged over four floors providing workspace, seminar rooms and state of the art laboratories.
