Bow Green Phase 3 is a residential-led development by St James, part of the Berkeley Group, located in the Bow Common area of East London. The site was formerly a gasworks and has since undergone comprehensive remediation.
The proposal aims to deliver a high-quality residential environment supported by enhanced walking and cycling networks within the site, as well as improvements to surrounding local routes. Phase 3 comprises 364 homes across two buildings, delivering a mix of private and built-to-rent accommodation alongside a range of residents’ amenities.
FBM’s appointment covers the development of the Phase 3 masterplan through to final design, providing full technical delivery services through to completion. This includes the review and coordination of internal apartment layouts to meet St William’s design standards, while responding to the latest sales and built-to-rent requirements. The detailed design proposal will be subject to a Gateway 2 Building Control application, managed by FBM in their role as Building Regulations Principal Designer.
