Three separate apartment blocks will provide private courtyard spaces for each building and semi-public connections to Lakeside Drive. By stepping the blocks back from the existing water feature, a public walkway can run along it, creating opportunities for businesses to move into the ground floor level of the blocks. The extension of the existing water feature towards the underpass will help to orientate and direct pedestrians entering the site.
Extending the courtyard blocks to 10 storeys to match the height of the adjacent apartment buildings, would provide circa 1100 units.
